Suramadu Bridge

The Suramadu Bridge stretches about 5.4 km across the Madura Strait, linking Surabaya with Madura Island. Opened on 10 June 2009, its central span hangs from cables strung between two tall pylons. Around sunset, its silhouette is a favourite sight from the shore.
